Misako Yamamoto, MAcOM, LAc, Dipl OM
I was born in Kobe, Japan and raised in the Portland area speaking both English and Japanese. I received Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Japanese from the University of Oregon and my Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (2004). I have also been practicing Qi Gong since 2001 and am a certified Qi Gong teacher.
My approach to healing is primarily intuitive. I combine gentle Japanese acupuncture styles, coupled with Qi Gong, shiatsu massage and Chinese herbal therapies to bring about subtle changes in the bodies Qi (energetic life force). My specialties include women’s health as well as spirit & emotion-based illnesses.

Ryan J Milley, MAcOM, LAc, Dipl OM
I attended Colby-Sawyer College for my B.S. in Exercise Science and received my Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) Degree from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM; 2005). I am a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and am certified to practice acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tuina (Chinese massage), and to teach Qi Gong. I traveled to China after college for advanced studies in Chinese herbal medicine at the International Training Center at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have also studied several Japanese styles of treatment: meridian therapy, Koshi Balancing, Sawada style moxibustion, and Sotai Ho. I am an associate Faculty member within the Department of Research in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at OCOM.
I specialize in orthopedic and sports medicine. To maximize treatment effects, I draw from all of these disciplines, including motor point release techniques; a form of sports therapy.
